NFL schedule and strength of schedule

Week-by-week matchups for every player, measured by the points each opposing defense allows to his position, with team slates, byes and the fantasy playoff weeks.

How the schedule page works

This page shows who each player faces week by week and how those defenses have treated his position, then every team's slate and bye. Each weekly cell names the opponent, marks away games and indoor games, and shows how many PPR points that defense has allowed to the position compared with the league average.

A second table averages the points each team's opponents have allowed by position and colors the easiest and hardest slates, and the team grid marks the fantasy playoff weeks, byes, short rest and divisional games.

It describes a schedule; it is not a projection. When points allowed by position was tested as an input to the projection, it did not beat a player's own season-to-date scoring, so the rankings do not use it. Treat a favorable slate as a tiebreaker between players the rankings already rate closely.
