94 rosterable players owned in under half of leagues; 44 barely owned at all.
94 players clear the value of the last man rostered in a twelve-team league while being owned in under half of leagues. This is the first version of this article the site could write with real ownership numbers behind it rather than a proxy, "available" here is measured, not inferred.
Ranked by what the engine says they are worth, not by how many people have already noticed. The trend column is ownership movement: a player climbing fast has been noticed, and a valuable player sitting flat has not.

Under 15% ownership and still above roster-relevant value. In deeper formats these are the names worth a speculative add; in shallow ones they are the reason the waiver wire is not empty in August.

Ownership climbing fastest among the available. If you want one of these, the window is measured in hours rather than days, and it is worth checking whether the move is news-driven before paying up for it.

Ownership is the share of ESPN leagues rostering the player. That is a strong proxy for availability and it is not your league: a player at forty per cent is freely available in one format and long gone in another, and this article has not seen your waiver wire.
The trend column matters more than the level. A valuable player at low ownership who is not moving has genuinely gone unnoticed; the same player climbing two points a day was noticed this morning, and by the time you read this the answer may already be different.
Value is the replacement-adjusted number the boards sort on, and roughly 134 is the 300th-ranked player, the last man rostered in a standard league. Everyone here clears that bar, which is what makes them worth the add rather than merely available.

Recency weighting: prior seasons contribute by recency (more recent = more weight) and sample size (more PA = more weight).
Shrinkage: observed rates regress toward position-specific population means by an amount inversely proportional to sample size. Catches small-sample outliers.
Quality-of-contact adjustments: xwOBA, barrel rate, and bat-tracking metrics replace luck-driven outcome stats with skill-driven ones.
PT modeling: projected PA is anchored to workload tier (full-time, regular, platoon, backup catcher) using historical role distributions.
Monte Carlo: N simulated seasons per player using projected mean + uncertainty, producing P10 / P50 / P90 distribution and bust%.
Confidence layers: four orthogonal multipliers: Roster (depth chart), Role (PT certainty), Sample (career PA), Market (consensus alignment). The Audit tab shows all four for every player.
VAR: Value Above Replacement at the player's primary position. Replacement levels are floored per position so SS scarcity doesn't artificially inflate stable middle infielders.
